The focus and information on this whole thing is really messed up. It only became newsworthy when the lady appealed and her sentence got upped. Its also interesting that when I first heard about this case there wasn't any mention of the man who both got raped and sentenced to 90 lashhes.A man and a woman getting gang-raped out of the blue? When I first read it I assumed there was some kind of setup involving the man she was with, which would at least make her punishment logical in a twisty sort of way, if you believe she is culpable for putting herself in a 'tempting' situation.
