		<description>Oh sure, that's what the intention is, no doubt. I'm just wondering if that's the default or expected reading, when &lt;em&gt;to live as X&lt;/em&gt; carries such weight in terms of the implications of what &lt;em&gt;X&lt;/em&gt;s do in their day-to-day lives.</description>

		<description>Perhaps "to live as a homosexual" means the opposite of "to live under his false identity of a straight man" - e.g. to live his life publically rather than a double-life or in secret.</description>
